Wyoming Modelers'
Park Association and the Riverton Depot Foundation have reached
a cooperative agreement, whereby the Association can accept tax
exempt grants and gifts through the Foundation's 501(c)3 non-profit
status. The Foundation will serve as a fiscal agent for the Association.
The Foundation will handle correspondence with donors to assure
contributors of the tax-exempt nature of their gifts. Foundation
assistance will greatly simplify handling of gift funds and accounting
for donations to the Park. Association President Eddie Amend said
"We are pleased with our affiliation with the Foundation, and greatly
appreciate their support. They will be a tremendous influence in
generating community support for financial help in building the
Park."
