In 2007 the Wyoming Modelers' Park Association (WyMoPA) was selected by the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) to participate in the TAG (Take off And Grow) program. This program allows anyone to come out to the park and learn to fly. Send us an e-mail if you know anyone interested in becoming an R/C pilot.

WyMoPA has been working with the Gear-Up summer program for the past four years. The Wyoming Modelers' Park Association teaches 5th through 9th grade students how to build remote controlled airplanes and vehicles. Once the students are finished with their projects, students are instructed on driving and flying at the Wyoming Modelers' Park.

Students have the opportunity to fly and drive the models they constructed at the park. One of the WyMoPA members need to be present with the models.
